About support, I paint on linen fabric marouflated on wood panel, then I add a layer of texture with a gesso primer.
My palette is a large piece of glass. Depending on the scene I’m going to paint, I put sometimes a toned paper under to reach an accurate sens of values. By default I have a neutral mid gray paper under it.
The paint I use is a local French product called Leroux (cf https://manuelbichebois.com/links/). I have used a several number of brands and at extra-fine level, they are all goods, so I decided to encourage local business.

Finaly, my brushes are not as local as my paint, cause I use Rosemary & Co (England is not so far from France 🙂 ), a wide variety of size and quality, mostly flat and round (for figure and portrait) (cf https://manuelbichebois.com/links/) .
